What does 8tree do?

8tree is a world leader in portable 3D optical surface inspection tools that are used in a variety of industries. Our tools solve chronic problems in aerospace manufacturing and aviation maintenance, simply and elegantly. Our vision is to make complex 3D measurement systems unbelievably easy to use by stressing user-experience as much as technical performance.

Founded in 2012 in the US and Germany, 8tree is a diverse team of about 15 passionate individuals – and growing! Our primary global offices are in Konstanz, Germany (R&D/Manufacturing & Customer engineering support), Dallas, USA, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Customer Engineering support offices) and Los Angeles Area, USA (Commercial operations).

Working Students

We always offer various Bachelor/Master Theses projects and internships (Praktikum und Praxissemester) and jobs for working students (Werkstudent/in). You can find a selection of open projects below, unsolicited applications are of course welcome.
